A picture wall gallery is more than just a decor trend; it’s a powerful way to inject personality and charm into your living space. Imagine turning a bare wall into a visual narrative that reflects your unique style and experiences. Whether you’re an art aficionado or simply looking to showcase family memories, a well-curated gallery wall can become the centerpiece of any room.
Start by selecting a focal point for your gallery. This could be above a sofa, on a large empty wall, or even a hallway. The key to a successful picture wall is balance and variety. Mix and match different sizes, frames, and styles of artwork to create visual interest. Don’t be afraid to incorporate other elements like mirrors, inspirational quotes, or even 3D objects for added texture.
Before you start hanging, lay out your pieces on the floor to experiment with different arrangements. This step will help you visualize the final look and make adjustments before committing to nail holes in your wall. Use painter’s tape to outline the layout on the wall for a more accurate preview.
Consistency in frame color and spacing can bring cohesion to a gallery wall. If you prefer a more eclectic look, embrace mismatched frames and varied spacing. Remember, the goal is to create a space that feels curated yet personal.
Lastly, don’t rush the process. A gallery wall evolves over time as you add new pieces and shuffle existing ones. Let it grow with you, reflecting changes in your tastes and experiences.
In essence, a picture wall gallery is a dynamic, living part of your home’s decor. It’s a canvas where your memories, passions, and creativity come together to tell a story that is uniquely yours.

I selected the pictures I wanted and added the same filter in Canva. I went to Bureau en gros / Staples and asked my pictures to be enlarged to 16″ X 20″ and voilà.
Take care,
