We went to Marquis Los Cabos in November 2022 and this resort is gorgeous. It had set the bar high for all the other resorts we visited and will visit from now on. Here’s my review.
At the airport, we got stopped for some promotion. Just like any other vacation destination, they will try to sell you something similar to a timeshare. Just don’t fall for it. However, we participated in their presentation and lost an entire day. They were very pushy and wouldn’t take a no for an answer. This resort is a bit pricey but it is completely worth it.
Anyway, the design of the resort is pretty and very aesthetic. There are multiple areas to take cute pictures – very Instagrammable. The staff is fluent in Spanish and English.
Rooms
We were in the Junior Suite Oceanfront King room. It was clean, beautiful and cozy. I don’t have much to say. It was just great.
Service
The service was fantastic. The staff treated us well. They were enthusiastic and always willing to help. We could always find something to eat at any time of the day. That is such a plus.
We loved the fact that food and drinks were available at our fingertips. The best part is when you are in the pool and you have food and drinks served to you. Their drink called “Mango Tango” is a must-try. I came back with a couple of pounds extra, actually a lot LOL, because anywhere in the pool area they came to take your order and serve you at all times.
Restaurants
I’ll try to give you a review of each restaurant we ate at but I forgot a little, please know that the food there is good. The website to reserve the restaurants and to look at the menu is very easy to navigate.
- Dos Mares: This restaurant is by the pool and they serve pizzas and tacos. DELICIOUS!
- Sakke: It has a classy vibe. We were at one of the Teppanyaki tables one night. The chef was skilled and the food was tasty. At the same restaurant, we also had some Asian food and that was also good.
- Vista Ballenas: Breakfast and dinner were both good. We loved the small fire pits. At night, it was romantic. We enjoyed each meal.
- Espresso Cappuccino: This little coffee shop was really cute. Unfortunately, we didn’t try their snacks.
- In-Suite Dining: It is 24 hours. Loved loved loved that.
Entertainment
There were some pool games in the afternoon but I don’t remember them having many things to do. I can’t quite remember because we went off-site to do some excursions.
We swam with dolphins, spent an entire day in another city and went on a party boat. It was so much fun. Which I would never do again by the way.
Overall Experience
We went in mid-November and it was windy and even a bit cold at night but in the morning, the weather was warm. We loved our stay there and might return. If you go there, you will enjoy your time there.
Take care
Ga’L
